My name is Marzooqah Asif and I am an Autism mom.
When my son was first diagnosed with Autism, the doctors suggested a range of medications including Ritalin and others. I went out on a limb and refused to give my son medication that could turn him into a zombie. I attended many workshops and courses. I did a 2 years International Diploma in Psychology, Education, and Therapy. Now my main goal is to become a PHD doctor.
My son is completely functional now. Alhamdullilah, has completed the Holy Quran and goes to a mainstream institution. Currently, he is doing his O levels and exploring life as a teenager but my journey has not ended. I help people, children, and adults. Therapy is not a taboo and I want more people to know this.
I am with help of Allah Kareem running a small preschool training center for children Angels Garden under the age of 5. Our aim is to make a child functional in mainstream society. Alhamdulillah, we are getting success in our aim with help of Allah Kareem and parents.
